Chameleon is very proud to have produced the largest combined Google Business View 360 Tour to date within the Google Maps System. The Aston University entire campus is over 10,560 individual photographs comprising of both interior and exterior  shots.

The project brief was to create something unique allowing potential university students across the globe to visit Aston online to give them a taste of what the University campus is like. The 360 virtual tour allows anyone to walk around the campus online showing off the amazing university facilities.

The tour also highlights historical facts, important features and information that are relevant. It’s like having your own personal guide.

Answering the question what colour is the dress!

The image below is of a dress that has gone viral due to a conflicting colour problem following a Tumblr post.

Readers are being asked to identify what colour it is. This dilemma needs to be answered!!!

What colour is the dress – White & Gold or Black & Blue?

To provide a solution to this we have researched a little further!

The Blue colour is actually hex colour #828eb8 which is Pantone 649 C to Pantone 651C.

The Brown colour is actually hex colour  #5e4d43 which is Pantone 7517C to 7519C.

The visual colouring of the produced conflicting opinions in our office. 70% of the people said it was brown and blue, 30% said purple and blue.

Google have announced today that they are changing their algorithm to detect browsers and devices to display search results relevant to the browser the user is operating.

What does this Google Mobile-friendly Change mean to non-technical people?

It means if you have a website that is not optimised for mobile devices then you will not achieve high rankings in Google search results.

When will Google Roll Out This Change

Google have said that this change will be taking place on the of 21st April 2015. This means it is now time to contact a web design company to learn what is required.

Sandwell Valley Country Park

FREE Fun for kids in the fresh air at Sandwell Valley country park which is located right by junction 1 of the M5 at West Bromwich. It’s a simple and easy place to get to and has FREE parking and FREE entry.

The park has many things to do for children of all ages. There are climbing nets, rope bridges, climbing towers with slides, swings, double zip wire, dragon roundabout, suspension bridge, play tractors with trailer and timber sculptures ideal for the all the family to enjoy. There is also a great picnic area and sandpit.

The High Rope Aerial Adventure area operated by Closer to the Edge is great fun. The adventure playground’s cycling and the RSPB Nature Reserve is superb.

The children’s area is split into two areas with large play activities including a water park and sand pits.

Located nearby also is a Swan Pool, the Forge Mill Farm, the river Tame and the Sailing Club.

The Miner’s Trail

The Miner’s Trail is a dedicated mountain bike trail spread across three kilometres of trails to test cycling ability. It features some exciting and challenging areas which makes for great fun. Located at Jubilee Woods next to Swan Pool car park (SAT NAV – B71 3SX).
