Facebook Drops Bing From Search Results

The end has come to what was to a long relationship with Microsoft search. A Facebook spokesperson has confirmed this to be accurate following the report by Reuters.

Facebook is now concentrating on it own content so when you search within Facebook you will be searching actual Facebook content only.

Facebook’s Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg flagged search as one of the company’s key growth initiatives. It was suggested that in the month of August there were more than 1 billion search queries occurring on Facebook every day.

The Internet star known as Grumpy Cat makes over 64 million for its owner thanks to the online success.

This lovely cat has over 520,000 followers on Instagram and 250,000 followers on Twitter. The cats face appears on calendars, mugs and T-shirts and all this thanks to the Internet and the owners brother putting the cat on Reddit and YouTube.
